It should always be the main goal in college to get your degree. It is what most would say the "prime directive" when we are thinking of college. In today's society it is truly uncertain of you getting into top business practice, if you don't have a degree of some kind in the field you are choosing to apply for and make a living off of. Especially if you want to stand the best chance because there are probably more individuals than just you going for the same job. Yes get the degree and you have the job.....really? Over time as you grow up through High School you begin notice that in some cases that is not the case. Some people on their application may have one leg up on you. The reason why is based off of their connections. People that they know who deliberately enhance their status with their own status, and share experiences that they have shared together. Now it's not just that they have a high status but that their background and expertise relates to the job you are looking into. Unfortunately not everyone has this amazing perk at their disposal whenever they choose. It is a developed relationship that becomes what it is over time. Now in High School the pool of people to talk to and have that kind of connection is very rare. That is where college comes into play. In college you are given a widespread of all professionals within almost any category of work you are set for. You can't go wrong with any of them from professors, coaches, administrators, to even the president himself. All of them can add up to you having a job maybe even before you graduate. If not a job it can also turn into internships, so that you may not only gain knowledge but even more connections in the facility you are working in. Only factor that can block from these chances in developing your status is getting too sucked up into other matters. For instance going to parties, traveling around, getting to involved with other people and their matters. It's nothing bad to have fun but in the long you are where you are because of the decisions you made. Initially as a freshman try to leave everything else to the next few years, and really work to choose your path in life. Staying committed to your school work is what is important. That means getting on good terms with the higher up people who facilitate the college you are getting your degree from. It may seem hard and less than necessary, you managing this skill of communicating is not something you can use enough for sure. Plan your future and make the adjustments necessary to seal it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
