Your Breakup Survial Guide

Cry.

Realize you are going to cry and thats okay. Cry whenever you want, wherever you want, no one will judge you everyone has been there.

Listen to that break up song as many times as you want.

My playlist consists of "We Don't Talk Anymore", "I will Survive" and "Sorry" because I like to feel sad and strong.

Don't let anyone force you to do something you are not ready for.

If you are not ready to date don't. Don't push yourself, thats okay, there is no time limit on moving on.

But don't become a hermit

Sitting home alone for weeks is not going to help, stay home a night or two but let yourself go out get dressed let your friends make you smile.

But remember you won't find closure at the bottom of that tequila bottle.

Take it from me, getting so drunk you give yourself a concussion will not make you feel better.

Realize it might not be possible to be friends with your ex.

You are probably losing if not one of your best friends. You will miss them, but talking to them everyday won't help you at all. You will never move on if you don't let them go

Do something for yourself

Get your nails done, cut your hair, spend may to much on a pair of shoes, hell get yourself a matching bag because you deserve nice thing, and you are an independent woman who doesn't need a man to take care of her

Surround yourself with your best friends.

They get it, they know how bad it hurts, and they love you so let them heel you.

Be angry.

Break something, take kickboxing, scream at the top of my lungs, you'll thank me later.

Don't go backwards.

DO NOT HAVE SEX WITH YOUR EX NO ONE WILL FEEL GOOD, YOU WILL CRY AND IT WILL BE THAT MUCH HARDER TO MOVE ON.

Memories Suck.

For some reason all you can remember is the good times. There is a reason you broke up think about those reasons, don't think about that one time when everything was perfect because thats not the truth.

Love yourself.

Because you are so worth it.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
