Black Friday can be crazy if you don't have a plan. Even then it can be a day full of sore feet, mad dashing back and forth and parking being impossible to find.
1. Make a list of stores you want to go to.
It helps you stay organized and you are able to stick to a specific route instead of losing where you are going in the crowds. Whenever my sister and I go out on Black Friday we make sure we have a list so we know what we are going to do.
2. Wear comfortable shoes.
Make sure you wear shoes that are comfortable because you will be on your feet for most of the day. You will also be walking all over various malls.
3. Bring water.
Make sure you bring a bottle of water so you don't get dehydrated. Walking in a mall on Black Friday should be considered a sport because you can get dehydrated very easily. You don't want to be without water on a day like that.
4. Bring your own shopping bags.
Some stores will charge a tax for bags. So make sure you bring plenty of reusable shopping bags.
5. Have all of your coupons ready for the stores you visit.
Odds are that on Black Friday there will be plenty of coupons for any and every store you will want to visit. So print them out or save them on your phone. It's Black Friday, it's a day for great deals!!
6. Go early but not too early.
My family usually leaves around 9am. If you go any earlier you will hit the very early morning rush but if you go too late you might run the risk of missing out on some of the things you want.
7. Bring a buddy.
You don't want to battle Black Friday on your own. Have a buddy. Plus you will have someone to relay questions about your purchases to.
8. Count your money before you go.
If you count your money prior to shopping you will know how much you have so you don't spend all of it. You will also be able to know what you can buy and how much you have to treat yourself.
