First off, you are one of my best friends if not the best friend. There is nobody in this world who is as special as you, nobody who could ever compare to you because you are you and I love you for that. You have given me the second best gift in life; other than life itself, which is friendship and for that I am forever grateful.
If you think about it, picking out your friends is a weird concept; you look at a person, they look at you, you two bond, and spontaneously a friendship is born. Meeting you for the first time and deciding to be friends was the best choice in a person I could have ever made. I truly dedicate the completely clique statement "boyfriends come and go but friends stick around forever" to you because no matter how many guys have broken my heart (too many actually), it was YOU who told me to wipe away my tears and move on with life. It was you who told me to suck it up out of tough love and to find a real guy who actually cares. I didn't find it helpful at the time, but looking back, I couldn't have received any better advice. All the problems we have have faced, we have faced them together and will continue to do so. Our friendship is forever and our friendship is pure.
Being that best friend who has literally been there through everything is more than a best friend; it is almost like having a life partner except you most likely wont live with them. They will be one of the main people in your life forever. You know every little pet-peeve, flaw, and dirty secret which makes you more than capable of helping me when in need. You know exactly how to help me by just being there and being my best friend. Thank you for being the one who has made the biggest impact on my life. I absolutely would not be the person I am today without my partner in crime by my side.
We have had our share of fights; some last an hour, others last days or even weeks. Coming out on the other side only shows that no matter the reason we will always stick side by side "for better or worse."
Thank you for being the one who has picked me up and held me when I have been at my absolute worst. Thank you for helping me come out on the other side even when I didn't think it was possible. Thank you for being the one who cries and laughs so hard with me until we can't breathe. Thank you for always wanting in on my stupid ideas. Why not be stupid together and create more memories? Thank you for the best everlasting friendship that I will cherish for all of eternity. Most of all, thank you for being the only one who has stuck by my side when I needed it most & thank you for being you.
