It may be the aimlessly walking around campus or the lost look on our faces when we're trying to decide the nearest dining hall, but freshman are usually pretty obvious on campus. But, we don't have to stress because we know we're not the only ones feeling this way.
1. You have absolutely no idea where your classes are and have to awkwardly ask other professors for directions.
“Hi, can you tell me how to get to the Engineering building?” “Yeah, sure. It’s across campus.”
2. You wear t-shirts from high school.
Wow?! Class of 2017?! So cool!
3. When you’re looking at your phone, you’re really looking at Google Maps and not Snapchat like you want people to believe.
This is usually when you don't want to be "that freshman" to ask a professor, so you try to play off your lack of a campus GPS.
4. You’re part of the small group of people who actually have class before the sun even rises.
Yeah, no one likes an 8:30 after going to bed just four hours prior.
5. Eating alone in the cafeteria feels wrong and uncomfortable.
What are you even supposed to do? Work? Check Instagram? Nah, just look around awkwardly.

But hey, it all happens to the best of us.
