When you learn you have to fake it until you make it.
College is all about acting like you know what you are doing until you actually do. Sometimes all it takes for others to believe that you are successful is to believe that you are first.
When you force yourself to get out and make new friends.

With colleges being on different schedules there is always a friend left behind. If you are stuck in class while your high school best friends are tanning on the beach it can be difficult. Remember that a break is right around the corner.
When you have to give your roommate instructions.
It is very important to have good communication with your roommate. You need to discuss who will take the trash out, who will bring what, and most importantly what is their sleeping schedule?

When your extroverted friends try to drag you out of your dorm.
Try to get out and do something fun once a day. You can meet new people and get your mind off of worrying about grades and scores.
When the professor holds the class over the time limit.
Being held over a class feels like you are going to explode. However, just keep smiling while nonchalantly putting your things away, and be prepared to sprint to make it to your next class.
When you and your roommate have to decide who is buying that week's groceries.

You can be a totally different person on Monday as you are Tuesday. This means you can repeat outfits, make different friends, and use the same jokes.
You do not have to live under your parents' rules anymore.
College means curfews do not exist, you cannot remember what a balanced diet is, and your room can forever look like a tornado just went through it. However, even with all of this freedom, you will still call you mom when you forget how to do laundry.

When you see the self-destructing freshman.
There is always that one freshman that goes crazy as soon as they get to college. They will not show up to class and stick their heads under the soft serve machine. They will eventually settle down or leave, but help as you can.
