13 Things You Know If You're A Millennial Morning Person
Good Morning

For the few, the proud, the brave millennials who love mornings and don't care who knows it.

1. First things first — most of your friends assume that just because you love mornings means you don't like to have fun. But for you, mornings are fun.

2. This leads into number two, which is you actually can stay up late. You just prefer not to.

3. When you do stay out late, you usually either wake up too early the next morning exhausted or wake up late and feel like the whole day is wasted. Also, you just don’t function well past midnight. Just nothing good happens.

4. You've probably even been called a grandma or grandpa before. Because only grandmas or grandpas like going to bed before midnight, right? Well don't they say with age comes wisdom?

5. You feel like an endangered species because most of your friends love staying up late. The stories you hear about how they hadn't gone to bed around the time you wake up in the morning send literal shutters down your spine. There should be a horror movie for morning people about being forced to stay up late.

6. If someone invites you to anything that starts after 10 p.m., you internally freak out. Who would start anything at such late hours?

7. You’re pro-active with your workload (usually). By noon, you’ve probably already worked out, finished your classes, had two cups of coffee and started on homework. Also, you try to plan out your projects so you don’t have to stay up all night working on assignments the night before they’re due.

8. Because you usually get your work done without too much procrastination, your friends probably think you’ve got your stuff together. However true this may or may not be, you don't mind it when they ask how you seem to always have a handle on everything.

9. You sometimes forget that not everyone is a morning person and have accidentally woken up a friend by calling or texting them in the morning. Sorry, how was I to know you're still in bed at 11 AM?!

10. You've also learned not to plan things with friends until the afternoon because the likelihood they'll actually show up decreases significantly with each hour earlier.

11. If you live with people who love the night, you've learned how to be a ninja in the morning as to not wake them up. Because there's nothing worse than talking to a grumpy night owl when you're in your peak hours of cheeriness during the day.

12. There's nothing quite like waking up at 7 AM without even setting an alarm. Such a wondrous feeling.

13. You know you'll always love mornings, no matter what the haters say. Well, it won't really matter since they'll just be asleep anyways. Morning time is bae.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
