Yes, I Am Going To Disney Again

Okay, listen. I know, my life is a Disney stan account pretty much. But hear me out for just a minute! At this point, I should probably just get an annual pass. For some people, Disney trips are luxuries while others make it an every month affair. While I cannot go THAT often, I do like to go as much as I possibly can.

While many people love going to beautiful islands and cool places, my favorite spot to vacation is WDW. I do want to see other places as well, but for me, it's my happy place. Of course anywhere you go is going to be fun, but it's just a standard place I look to going to.

I don't think I have even ever explained my love for Disney, even though I have written a million articles about WDW.

I can't explain where my love started, but my first trip to a Disney resort wasn't until I was 6 turning 7. So if you're looking for some cute baby-me interaction with a character, it never happened. Of course, my trip was still magical.

When I met Mickey and Minnie Mouse, it was the morning of my birthday. I wore my "It's my Birthday!" pin proudly. I walked into the little farmhouse where they were stationed, and finally it was my turn to meet them. When I went to hug Mickey, he pointed at my birthday pin. I nodded proudly and said, "It's my 7th birthday today!" He nodded and gestured to HIS birthday pin. Confused and surprised, I was wondering if Mickey knew it was my birthday. "Mom, did you tell him?" I asked her and she laughed. A cast member greeted me with the biggest smile. "It looks like you're both celebrating today!" She said. I felt like the Mr. Krabs meme, I couldn't put two and two together due to all of the shock of the trip itself.

"It's Mickey Mouse's birthday today, too!" The girl said.

My heart exploded. I shared a birthday with MICKEY MOUSE?! I jumped around, my mom and dad just as surprised as I was. For me, I think that was the start of it all. Shout-out to all the November 18th babies, I guess we're in a mouse club now.

After my first trip, I wanted to go a million more times. As I grew older, the thought of being there made me cry. I got more into learning about everything Disney and even wanting to work there. The older I grew, the stronger my love grew as well.

Today, I have been to WDW more than I can count on my hands. I plan to visit every Disney resort, but WDW is like a home to me. I am strongly thinking about working in Disney at some point in the future, and plan to theme some aspects of my life around it.

Yes, I am visiting Disney again in just ONE MONTH! Why, you may ask?

Because something so popular and magical has never meant so much to tiny old me.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
