To me, Jesus is someone more than just "God." He is my source of comfort when I am feeling stressed, happiness when I am feeling down, and ultimately just feeling him move in mighty ways can turn a bad day entirely around.

There are certain reasons why I feel that everyone can benefit from a relationship with Christ. Because personally, without him I would be nothing.

The older I get and the more my friends shift around, it feels good to have someone that I know will always be there. To talk to, and ask for guidance. It may sound weird, but if you have felt the love of God you will never be the same.

One of my favorite songs is entitled "Brave" by a Christian Group call Hillsong United. The lyrics of this song repeat over and over "You make me brave, you called me out beyond the shore into the waves." This song speaks to me in mighty ways. First of all, God gives us the strength to begin what we are afraid to do. Let's say I'm going to go and talk in front of a big crowd. I am very afraid but GOD gives me peace to overcome. Another reason why I love this song is because it clearly states that God has called us, and has a specific plan for us. As an undecided major in my freshman year of college, this really gives me peace because it reminds me I have no need to worry about my future.

Becoming the person God wants me to be through the way I speak, act, and carry myself are also the things that are important to me. God calls us to be his children, and to show his love to everyone around us. I am confident in my relationship with Christ, in which I can accomplish anything I put my mind to, I can finish anything I start, and I can show love to everyone I meet. No matter who they are or where they come from, I am confident that I can tell others about Jesus just by saying hello to someone in the hallway, or just being genuinely nice.

Thankful for a God who died for me, so I'm going to live for him 100%.
