So usually, I do not like enjoy writing instructable articles, but since school is starting back up, papers will be due. And with papers comes frustration and people not caring anymore. So of course since I am kind, I shall try to help you as best as I humanely can.

To start off, your instructor hands you the paper assignment.Study that. Learn it. Ask your instructor all your questions now. Usually you’ll have a week to write this. Start by figuring out your position on the topic. Figure out your thesis and whatever back up you have.

Next, officially get some research. Go to that magical place called the library, and check books out and look on the web for credible research materials. Write quotes and anything you learn from sources. Keep it all on separate files or paper. Be sure to write down the sources, so that you may properly cite it later. Now go back to your original thesis and make sure it aligns with your research. If it does not, change it up. Mind you if this paper is due in a week, this should be between your first and second day of getting the assignment.

Okay, great job. Now take all of your sources and thesis and line it all up in an outline. The outline should have these categories: Introduction. Body Paragraph 1. B.P. 2 and B.P. 3 and conclusion. If it is longer, add more spaces if need be. Remember your introduction MUST have the last sentence to be your thesis statement. Each body paragraph is a separate entity, and the conclusion must summarize all points. More about each will be described in detail.

Now time for the actual paper! Put all your stuff into paragraphs. Do not worry about grammar annd such for now.Be sure to make each paragraph a separate entity each time.

Your introduction should start off with something broad. And with each sentence, it should ease into the topic of your writing. Then ease it into where the thesis is. Then BAM! Add that thesis statement real quick.Yeah! Great job!

Body paragraph one should follow that same format. But this time, it is a topic sentence, and all of the research that proves the sentence. Which in turn proves the thesis. And a good rule of thumb is, one line of quote write two or more lines of analysis. Literally break down quotes word for word. Follow that formula for the other two body paragraphs. And remember, each concluding sentence should be witty and actually wrap it up.(Yes, transitional phrases are your friends.)

Remember this should be happening on Day 3 of that “One Week Project”.

Then write that conclusion. It must be trite. Keep it simple. Summarize your points and leave your readers thinking with that last statement.

After that, take this rough draft, and have people comment on it. About five people should. Just so your writer's voice does not get lost in the mix. Have them mark it up and tell you what you should add and what they felt you should remove.Ask questions. Remind them to be open and honest, you may learn more about writing through this.

Next take these revisions and apply them to the paper. After that, have some other people look at it and clean it up for you again. Trust me, this helps a lot.Have both parties on day 4 and day 5 use the rubric you were given and help you reach the highest score you can possibly get.

Finally, it is day 6. Tomorrow you have to hand it in. Oh boy! Now you have to print it out for real.Double check and make sure you have all the standards of the paper. Citations, headings, works cited page and all.It is all required and needed for this. Now press print. Find a stapler and staple it neatly in the top left corner.

Put it in your folder, and you are done. Tomorrow hand it into your instructor. And I bet you will get an A or better.

Good job and good luck.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
