You don't have to be the greatest writer to journal. It is just a platform to express yourself and reflect on your emotions. Writers block gets the best of us sometimes (a lot of the time for me), so here is a list of prompts to help when you need that push of inspiration.Â
1. Three good things that happened to me today are...
2. Today I will enjoy nature or creativity by...
3. Think about what things make you happy. Talk about them in detail.
4. What are some negative thoughts you want to let go of?Â
5. I am lovable because...
6. Write the first thing that is on your mind and go further with it.Â
7. Write five positive affirmations.
8. I'm most proud of...
9. One thing about myself I need to work on is...
10. One goal I seek to accomplish is...
I've used all of the prompts above and they helped guide me in thought-out entries. There is a cure for writer's block!
