1. When your nicest notebooks go without a word in them because you're never sure if an idea is good enough for them.
2. When you come up with a simple idea for a short story, but it takes on a life of its' own.
THIS IS WHY MOST OF MY STORIES DON'T GET FINISHED. I DON'T KNOW WHEN TO STOP.
3. When you can't write in silence but every song you pick to listen to is wrong for the mood of your scene.

5. When you're trying to sleep but a new idea won't leave you alone.
6. When you want to write but can't come up with an interesting idea.
7. When all of your ideas start to sound the same.
8. When you realize you're going to have to kill off one of your favorite characters.
9. When you have several WIPs but can't get yourself to work on them.
10. When you revisit an old idea.
There's almost a level of guilt when you look back through all the work you did on a story that you set aside for a different one.
