Traveling is an amazing opportunity to go out and see the world in a new perspective. You can see monuments, meet new people and try new foods. The best way to travel from place to place is through airplanes, which are typically pretty nice. However, there are always those flights that make your experience a living hell for the duration of your flight. Even though there are flights that are very enjoyable, here are the five worst things that can happen to you on a plane:

1. Babies

Babies are the cutest little people in the world. They laugh and smile and are the most adorable things ever next to puppies. However, when you are on a plane with a baby, you see a whole other side of the baby. It is whining, crying, yelling and preventing you from falling asleep or watching your favorite movie. The worst part is that the parents do not know how to stop the baby from crying. They do not know if the baby is hungry or needs to be changed or thirsty. The parents just sit their figuring out what the problem is while the other passengers suffer through the screaming from the little demon.

2. Turbulence

Little shakes and bumps throughout the flight is fine for most passengers, but when the plane flies through rain and heavy clouds, the entire plane moves a lot. Each time the plane moves up or down or left or right, my heart skips a beat while I frantically try to grab anything to stop moving. I am not like most passengers who are used to turbulence like that. It is nice when the pilot warns the passengers about upcoming turbulence and to take their seats, but sometimes, the plane goes through rough areas of turbulence without any notice. This is why I have trust issues.

3. Becoming Sick

I do not get sick that easily on flights, but it can happen to anyone. When you do not feel well from the seafood you had earlier or the plane is moving too fast, the sickness kicks in and you feel the nausea creeping up. Even if nothing happens afterwards, you develop this feeling of discomfort that lasts the rest of the trip back whether it is three hours or 11. Sometimes, air sickness does not have to affect you directly to give you a horrible trip. Maybe your neighbor is not feeling well. You have to deal with whatever happens next, leaving you and your neighbor in a very uncomfortable position.

4. Airplane Food

This is my absolute worst thing on any flight I go on. The peanuts and drinks served on every flight are satisfying and nice for a short flight, but for long flights, you will have some airplane food. I understand that the food is not the best, gourmet meals that a 5-star chef would cook, but I cannot stand to even smell the airplane while food is being served and eaten. It does not taste good at all. Eating this food could result in number three, giving you two things to worry about.

5. The Kickers

I have dealt with my fair share of kickers on flights. These are the little kids that sit behind you and kick your seat the entire flight because it is so fun and entertaining for the toddler. The worst part is that when you ask the child to stop, the kid immediately does it again but harder, and you cannot ask the parents because they are fast asleep, not having to deal with their kicking child.

Now, all of these things are my experiences from flying. I do not hate flying at all; the majority of my flights are pretty nice. There are just those flights that you cannot stand, yet you have to just wait until the plane lands for it to be over. Even though there are always good things about planes, there are always worse things that can happen to you on a plane.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
