Going home for the summer is all fun and games until you realize how much you miss school. The school year flew by, but these 3 months during the summer have not gone by that fast.
1. Missing college friends.
Being apart for 3 months from the people you used to spend 24 hours a day with is truly very hard.
2. Having a summer job.
Not that I miss the school work, but employment is no walk in the park either.
3. No late night food.
At least for me, nothing is open in my town past 10. I would kill for some CampCo at ridiculous hours of the night right about now.
4. Constant parental supervision.
Don't get me wrong I love the family time, but after being on my own for 9 months it is a lot to deal with.
5. Being bored.
It's great seeing your high school friends, but after a while you start itching to get back to school.
6. Having to drive everywhere.
At school, I would walk to my friends room, to get food, or basically anywhere. Now I have to hop in a car and take too long of a trip for these things.
