15 Words You Didn't Know Existed

So many times we have particular feelings, encounter noteworthy circumstances, or are witnesses of something incredible, yet we have no words to truly express the emotion that is paired with it. Well low and behold there are a slew of words you have yet to be familiar with, all explaining these moments.

To all my fellow go-getters, this word is for you. You are constantly hunting for what you're passionate for and are always dreaming of your aspirations. Use this word to describe yourself a little more often, because it is admirable and impressive.

This may be many's biggest fear, not being good enough for people. It's this terrible feeling in the pit of your stomach like you're not worth the time or the effort. Know this fear and work to dispel it, you are worth so much.

Ooooh ladies we are all guilty of this. You see that cutie enter the room but you gotta get a read on him. It's just pretty much a prerequisite, c'mon now.

The wonderful feeling of being wanted, being needed, but sometimes we have to have this realization that we are worthy of that. We deserve to be loved and we should seek the things that are nurturing to our soul, to our mind, to our well-being.

This is something I aspire to be. I call myself the silent worrier; I am composed on the outside, but every potential worry or fear is swirling around in my head at a mile a minute. I forever dream of going with the flow, letting my worries disappear, and simply enjoying life the way it is.

How great is this?! It's like our own little bubble of protection that should never be crossed, and even when its permeability lets in adversity, we are continually showered with love and comfort, reminding us that we will get through whatever struggle was put before us.

Basically a noun for "the feels." A song, a poem, a painting, a photograph, whatever form of art it may be, we get that emotional feeling in the pit of our stomachs and deep in our hearts as we know that this masterpiece was meant to touch our lives.

The definition of a reciprocal relationship. There's give and take, respect, constant love, and communication of all of these feelings. We should all aspire for friendships and deeper relationships like this; they will be the most rewarding.

That A-HA moment when we realize something's not right and we have the power to change that. We have it in us to make our lives exactly how we want it to be and so often we forget that.

This homebody knows what's up with this word. Constantly yearning for that homey feeling, knowing you're loved and in a comforted place. It's the intangible security we seek.

Life is a journey and so is the processes to make your life that much better for yourself. A change of mindset, heart, self, or way of life is going to require an adjustment period, and you know what? That's perfectly fine.

This one is so random, but really resonates with me. The beauty of bells as they chime, but the echo always follows. Go impress your friends with this word.

The passion that is exhibited when your heart loves the work you are doing. It is unique to you, and when people reflect on what you've contributed to, the first thing they note is that piece of your heart that is embedded in the time and final product.

AKA the people who anger me the most. This awful facade of caring for things for social acceptance and approval that I wish would disappear. Love and be passionate about things because they speak to your soul, not because you want to be a big whig with interesting views.

That walk around the block smell that comes when spring is in bloom and it's about 6:30 at night? The smell of leaves that brings you right back to the soccer field when you were a kid? Wood burning in the frigid air around Christmastime? A bright blue pool and hot dogs on the grill and the memories of your 4th of July's with family and friends? Yup, that's all this word.

Take the time to follow @worddiction on Twitter, their insight and ability to bring this vocabulary to the spotlight has been eye opening and an opportunity to reflect on all I am and believe in, and I encourage you to do the same. Much love, friends.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
