People still pick their shoes for all the same reasons and not solely based on what Beyonce or the Kardashians are wearing. You are your own person. The shoes we choose to wear in the morning, that we typically wear for the rest of the day, are symbolic of how we feel. And sometimes it's not all dependent on the season or fashion trend.

Doesn't matter what this shoe is, maybe it's one that you wore in the summertime and you're just brave enough to take it out for the snow! While everyone is making small talk about the chilly weather when it's only 50 degrees, you're not letting anything get in the way of style. Fashion before all else!
These decisions may be subconscious or you might stand in front of your shoe rack judging each pair of shoes that you have to see if they match your mood. But whatever you decide to wear, just know that your little shoes speak volumes for you.
