Dear Mom,
I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate you. You took me in when my real mother didn't want me and ever since you treated me like one of your own. You even told people that I was your daughter. You took care of me and gave me everything I ever needed. You did your best to show me love after all those years where I experienced nothing but hate. You showed me how a parent is supposed to treat their child and that I was worth more than just being someone who's sole purpose was to be their parents slave. You took me to church and showed me who God was and made sure that I knew he loved me. You taught me right from wrong and you instilled in me to always have manners no matter who the person is,
Overall I can't begin to thank you enough for all the life lessons you have taught me and all of the love you have shown me. You didn't have to do any of that and yet you did. You are the whole reason I am who I am today. I hope that I can be half the woman you are, let alone be half the mother you are, Thank you for being the only constant in my life. I don't know what I would ever do without you.
I love you, Mom.
Love,
Your Daughter
