Spring graduation is coming up, and for those of us with a few years left, that means we will be saying goodbye to our beautiful senior friends (sad face). While we're super bummed that you'll be leaving, we're also super proud of all of the big and marvelous things you'll be doing at the start of your careers. So, to our graduating seniors -- here's something all of your non-graduating BFFs have thought going into your graduating semester.

"This is our last (insert fun event here) together."

Experiencing the 'lasts' with your college friends is something you're never going to forget. Last football game, last tailgate, last finals week... where did the time go? Each one gets a little harder, especially the things you enjoyed most throughout your undergrad years. But once your lasts are over, you'll get to look back and appreciate the memories you made along the way.

"Why do you have to go?"

We all have those moments of sadness while realizing our friends are going to be gone after graduation. However, it's a sigh of relief to know that true friends will always make time to come see each other no matter what the distance. It may not be as close-knit as it once was, but it will definitely still be a special bond that no one can take away.

"I'm so proud of you."

The pride and joy of seeing some of your closest friends graduating and doing amazing things is unmatched. Your strides and accolades will only be cheered on by your friends back home. Nothing will beat the joy of seeing those that you love improving their lives and making a name for themselves.

Even if it's SUPER hard to say goodbye, just know that we're rooting for you from the sidelines. Your University friends will always understand where you came from and how hard you worked to get where you are. We are so proud of you! Congratulations!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
