Winter isn't coming; it's here. And I alternate between feeling excited for things like the holidays and cozy sweaters, and then absolutely dreading the subzero temperatures and short daylight hours. To help us better understand these contrasting feelings, let's turn it over to our favorites down in Bikini Bottom.

1. This is us when it snows for the first time

So pretty and exciting, right?

2. But here we are after the 4384545 snowstorm

After being snowed in a few times, the initial excitement about the snow begins to wear off.

3. Let's not forget about Christmas!!!

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!!

4. But then we face the very real struggle of putting Christmas lights up

It takes real strength to put up lights without falling at least once.

5. This is us at the new year

We have all our resolutions ready to go and are ready to knock this new year out of the park. We're gonna eat healthy, exercise and stay on top of all our work!

6. But after day 2 or 3, we fall into our old ways

Krabby patties never tasted so good as when you're breaking your stupid resolutions.

7. By the time Valentines Day rolls around we either look like this

8. Or this

No matter if you love or hate winter, there will always be a Spongebob meme to make you feel understood. Stay warm and have a great holiday season!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
