"Parks and Recreation" is one of my all-time favorite shows. If you have never seen it, what are you doing with your life? If you have, you know exactly what I am talking about. Leslie Knope, Ann Perkins, Ron Swanson -- just some of the many amazing characters I have known and grown to love. Out of all of the characters though, there is one that trumps them all. Andy Dwyer: the classic goofball of the century. At first, Andy was not even supposed to be on the show for that long, but the producers loved him so much that they decided to have him as a regular. There is no way that "Parks and Recreation" would have been the same without him, as he brings so much laughter and joy to everyone's chaotic lives in the show. He's the happy medium. He is someone that I actually would love to hang out with on a day-to-day basis. No joke.

Here are some reasons why Andy Dwyer would be the perfect best friend:

1. He will do anything to make someone happy (especially the kids)

2. He is the ultimate mastermind

3. He has many great qualities

4. There will be no judgement when you eat with him

5. He is a fast learner

6. He doesn't stand for much

7. He is always willing to help you with your problems

8. He isn't too harsh when it comes to things

9. He is happy all of the time

10. He's a romantic

11. He's always there to save the day

12. He always has a reason for everything

13. It isn't hard to tell what he is feeling

14. He breaks everything, but he means well

15. He is afraid of nothing

16. He is honest

17. ... Like really honest...

16. He is entertained easily

17. He apologizes no matter whose fault it was

18. He will try to impress your friends

19. He won't stand for nonsense

20. He makes anything seem fun

21. He is appreciative

22. He is considerate

23. He will fight all of your crimes and solve all mysteries for you

24. He admits when he isn't at his best

25. He isn't a good liar for that matter either

26. He appreciates your input

27. And anything you have to say

28. He is confident and speaks his mind

29. Overall, he is so adorable and sweet that it hurts

He is the typical goofball who constantly breaks things, spills your secrets, and asks dumb questions, but he will always be able to make you smile. His intentions may come off wrong, but he means only the best. Andy Dwyer is the best friend you could ask for, and he is so much more than that.

Everyone deserves to be April Ludgate. Strive for your Andy Dwyer and never settle for less; you deserve it.
