Who is QCKND or What is QCKND?

First off let's dive into the name, QCKND (pronounced quick end), stands for Quiet Cool Kid No Doubt. She began writing on the website Xanga when she was 14. Eventually, she posted a youtube video on her scarification including what it is and the healing process that came with it. From there, QCKND's youtube channel took off and she was signed under a youtube license. QCKND's real name is, Amanda and she is currently living in Philadelphia, PA. She is currently a hairdresser located in Philly and she can be easily spotted with her colorful hair. QCKND has a unique sense of style with multi-colored hair and an endless amount of tattoos. (seriously she is my spirit animal)!

Tattoo Talk Tuesday

Every Tuesday QCNKD releases an episode of Tattoo Talk Tuesday. This is seriously the best ever for all your tattoo questions, curiosities, and concerns. In a nutshell it is a Question and Answer video all about tattoos. Each week QCKND has other uses submit questions to her via Twitter and Tumblr, she then picks a set of questions and answers them on Tattoo Talk Tuesday. If you need tattoo advice this is the place to go! You will see topics such as what to do if parents are against your tattoos, tattoo placement, keeping tattoos bright, and so much more! She explains everything perfectly and even if you know just as much it is still good to watch to here about her experience within the tattoo realm.

Five Fact Friday

I literally cannot get enough of Five Fact Friday! This has a similar concept to Tattoo Talk Tuesday by the use of user submitted questions, but this takes on topics outside of the tattoo world. Honestly, this series is my all time favorite. As the viewer you feel as though your having a half hour long conversation with a best friend. Plus, it is great because she is 26 years old which allows us to relate to her in more ways than one. Do not get me wrong though, she does have viewers from a younger crowd as well, so it is definitely good for all ages. Lastly, she does have some beauty, style, and food themed videos. She recently did a lookbook for the show Stranger Things and it was beyond perfect! You should really check this one out!

Trust Me

Do yourself a favor and go subscribe to QCKND, you will not be disappointed. I would love to meet her in real life just because of how much we have in common. I think that is why I love her videos so much, just because I can relate them to my own life. Click the link below and see for yourself, you will thank me later!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
