The sad part about today’s generation is that most people have lost their hope. There is no hope in accomplishing dreams, in figuring out life, and especially not in love. When people think of the hope they once had as a child they see it as just that, a childhood memory that does not exist in the adult world we all must enter. Most now a days wish to be back in those childhood days where we were so worry free and happy. I would be lying if I said that I did not wish from time to time to be young again and have my only worry be what would be for dinner, but I have never completely lost hope.
When I sit down with a lot of my friends the conversations we end up having are our loss of hope in the generation that surrounds us and the life that exceeds us. We are scared of what is to come and what is planned for our future. So many people have tried to push us down and keep us there and it seems every chance we get to stand back up because hope seems to have come back to us someone else is there to knock it out of us and us back down. It does not surprise me that this generation seems to have lost hope in the future and in everything around them but I am here to say don’t loose it.
I know that looking back there are multiple reasons to not have any hope for the future but never give up. There is a saying that “everything happens for a reason” and I stand strong by that. Those who are meant to be in your life always find a way back no matter how far they stray and those who are only meant to be there for a little end up leaving and we need to learn that that is okay. Those that leave are not meant nor worth it to be apart of our lives and to see it in that way helps keep that hope alive.
Looking around at the people that are in my life even when some choose to walk out makes me happy of who I am and what could possibly come from it because I somehow kept those amazing people around. I thank god everyday for the people he lets into my life even those that are there for only a short time because they were put there for a reason. There is still hope that one day more great people will walk into my life that help me up from all those people that have knocked me down throughout the years.
Some experiences in life are there to teach us lessons good or bad. We have all had those times were we have lost hope in ourselves and what we want to accomplish in life. It seems impossible to continue when nothing seems to be going right but those bad experiences shape who we are. Never give up hope on your dreams because of a bad month or even a bad year because they have made you that much stronger. Hope keeps that drive alive to be able to accomplish anything you put your mind to so never give that up.
This generation is full of let downs and dates that consist of Netflix and chill that could stop anyone’s hope, but I am here to say don’t stop having hope in the future. Don’t stop believing that the next person could be the right one; don’t stop hoping that this interview could be the big break in your future career. Hope is what keeps people and this world alive and evolving into something better then what it has become. Have hope and give your all in everything you do because the next time could be the right time.
