Our guilty pleasures sometimes are what keep us going. They're the things we turn to when we need a little smile or when we just need to have a little fun. They're the little things we love that other people might judge us for, but we don't care. Whether it's anything from cheesy music, bad movies, to treating yourself to a pint of Ben and Jerry's, there's absolutely nothing wrong with loving yourself and embracing all that stuff you just can't hate despite the stigmas against it.
Why should we feel bad about loving the things we love simply because others don't feel the same way about them? There's no point in hiding the things you love and that make you happy, especially since literally everyone has their own individual interests -- there's no point in bringing people down because of what they're interested in. Where's the fun in a world where every single person likes the same exact things? Honestly, I don't even know what else I can say to this point. Do what you love and don't drag down other people for what they like. Be a good person. Have fun. Be nice.
We like what we like and that's it. So you do you, do what you love, and don't ever be ashamed of it.
