The friend who keeps canceling plans with you? The guy who read your text and didn't respond? These things are out of your control and shouldn't dictate how you live your life. Don't let the little things you’re waiting to happen get in the way of what is happening now.
Someone wants to see you.
Friends, family, coworkers, teachers and advisors are all
waiting to see your shining face today. They want to help you be the best version of yourself, so let them! If you've been meaning to tell them how much you care about them, now is always a good time to do so.
There are so many wonderful places outside of your bedroom.
The mornings are the best time to focus on yourself. Go on a walk, make a quality breakfast, sit down with your coffee instead of taking it to go. Doing something productive with your morning, or going outside the comfort of your home can change how you view the rest of your day.
You don’t want to.
Your bed is super tempting, I know, but life isn't always about being comfortable. Stepping outside of your comfort zone is key, especially during times when that's the last thing you want to do.
