6 Reasons You Need Eyelash Extensions ASAP

I recently had eyelash extensions done and want to share my experience with everyone else. There are many articles on the eyelash extension process and how to take care of them, but I want to talk about the reasons you should get them.

1. It boosts your self confidence.

If you're like me, your eyelashes aren't the longest or the curliest. But, with eyelash extensions, you'll feel like a million bucks. You can hold your head high and let everyone admire your beautiful eyelashes.

2. No need to wear eye makeup.

The hassle of applying eye shadow, trying to master the perfect winged eyeliner, and clumpy mascara is all over as soon as you apply eyelash extensions. If you feel the need to dress up your new look, you can always put on some face makeup and fill in your eyebrows. Running into someone you know at the grocery store while you're not wearing makeup is no longer a fear.

3. Healthier eyelashes.

With extensions, applying mascara and fake lashes are a thing of the past. That means that there is less pulling and tugging on your natural lashes that makes them prematurely fall out or even damages them. With extensions, the lashes fall out with your natural lash cycle.

4. You can sleep in a little bit.

Without having to do your makeup every morning, you can get that extra fifteen minutes of sleep you've been praying for.

5. You can save money.

Without having to buy all the tubes of mascara, curlers, or fake lashes you could potentially save money from having extensions. Especially if you don't use eyeshadow and eyeliner, you're saving possibly hundreds of dollars.

6. The look is easy to upkeep.

All you need to do to maintain the look is getting touch-ups. Every 2-3 weeks your lashes will need a fill, but it takes less time than a full set. You'll be in and out in thirty minutes.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
