So it came to my attention that writing about this topic would be a good idea because I know there are tons of girls out there who are worried about where they are going to be in 20 years. Well let me tell you ...
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." — Matthew 6:34
Some of you may already have your life planned out. You might know who you are going to marry, what job you are going to pursue, where you want to live in the next 10 years, who you are going to be and what you are going to do with your life.
For others, like me, all of the above are still big question marks floating in the air. I honestly have no clue where I will be in the next 20 years. I don't know who I am going to spend the rest of my life with. I don't know where I will live or what career I will have and that is OK. Sometime's I catch myself worrying about all of those things, but I know God has a path for me and someday he will provide me with answers to all of my questions.
You are still young. Enjoy life. Everything else can wait. You don't want to look back years from now and regret anything or how you wish you did this and that. Travel as much as you can, do things that make you happy. As long as you keep your faith everything will make sense one day. Sometimes we lose track of who we are and who we want to be and that is why you have to find yourself. My mom always told me, "you have to love yourself first and be happy with who you are before you can love anyone else," and I know she is right. For the 19 years I have been on Earth I've learned to keep your friends close and your family and God closer because I can promise you they will be your biggest backbone at the end of the day.
Do not worry. Fear and worry can eat you alive if you let it. I promise in time everything will make sense. By the way, wouldn't you want to be mysterious and not know what your life brings? I think that's better than "knowing" at this age. It gives us something to look forward to and dwell on.
Like Forrest Gump says,"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get."
