Why We Love T-Swift

Why We Love T-Swift

So, I am the first to admit that I don't LIKE T-Swizzle, I LOVE her. From the moment my mom bought me her first self - titled album, after seeing her at the local chili cook-off in my hometown, it was love. Her words spoke to my insecure and awkward middle school days and from there on out, I was hooked.

Anywho, let's get started about all of the reasons people should love Taylor Swift:

1. Her Honesty

She's not afraid to tell the world who she is. She's bold and for that, she is well-respected. She'll tell you just who did her wrong, what makes her eyes sparkle, and how her life is going all through song.

2. Swiftmas

In case you didn't know, Taylor surprised a bunch of her fans during the holidays with gifts, especially for them. She did all the shopping and even hand delivered them. Such an angel.

3. She basically helped not only me but all other heartbroken teenage girls all of the world

Yes, I am older and much wiser, but once upon a time, my teenage self thought that my world was ending due to a stupid breakup I had. I'm sure every girl can agree to some sort of severe heartbreak and acting like a complete idiot over it. Taylor was there to remind all these heartbroken girls that they're going to be okay.

4. Her Sincerity

She has a great sense of humor, she's the wholesome American sweet - heart. Just check out her Instagram post from the fourth of July. Her sincerity is something that is loved by all.

5. T-Parties, Club 1989, and everything in between

She actually takes the time to meet those who adore her. She even follows back on tumblr and stalks her fans. If you're lucky enough, you just might get a message from the angel herself.

Well, I am a Swift fan and I am not afraid to show it. I haven't missed a concert yet and can't wait to see her come October.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
