We really can't help it.

Seriously? We just did this last week!!! And like, the week before that! This is ridiculous. We all know we hate despise Monday and everything it stands for. But why exactly? It can't help that it makes us cry and want to quit work just so we can sleep for one more measly hour. Why are we so passionate about our hate for Monday? Why, why, why?

1. It means we (most of us) have to adult again. Whether that means going back to school or work, its the beginning of another long week that we don't wanna go through.

You know those things we have that are like five days a week and last like 9-12 hours? OH YEAH- "Jobs", we all know we're grateful to be able to have a source of income, but gheez, we also know tat we all hate it and would rather be on a beach or in bed

2. Because we have been sleeping all weekend, or partying, or doing whatever, some of us may be recovering from hangovers. We just can't on Monday, okay?

Friday night we went to the bar to drink and complain about the annoying coworker we have who always is kissing up to the boss. Saturday we're drinking alone and crying while Greys Anatomy. And Sunday we are probably still drinking, but this time with our like two friends.

3. Nothing productive or useful gets done on Monday.

It's Monday, which means we're still stuck on Sunday (Since we technically we to bed on Monday at like 3 A.M.) and we just want to sleep at our desks instead of doing our acctual jobs, but I mean, if we can sleep and not get caught then it's a win-win right? Our brains just aren't ready to function quite yet.

4. You begin to remember all the mistakes you made over the weekend. OH IT BEGINS. THE REGRET.

Remember when we were at the bar? Well we picked up a dude apparently. Now to figure out how to make him leave and not ever call you again. Good luck with that.

5. You remembered you didn't do the homework for class or study for your test. F+ for no effort.

*Get text from classmate asking for answers on homework thats due the following Monday for class. Then realizes you haven't even done it yourself.* We forgot we had homework because we were busy...sleeping, drinking, eating and binging documentaries on murders instead of figuring out how many pancakes will fit on the roof if you have 4 pencils and I have 7 apples. (The answer is: Purple aliens don't wear hats."

6. It's Monday, and it means we can't sleep in again. Yay for 6 A.M alarms.

We've gotten use to going to bed at 5 A.M. and waking up at 9 P.M. just to go back to sleep at 5 A.M. again and do the cycle again. But we go to bed 5 A.M. Monday morning, only to forget we have to wake up at 7 A.M.. Damn it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
