Lately there has been such a buzz of attention over Taylor Swift and what she’s been up to. There was the Calvin Harris break up, the Tom Hiddleston pictures, and now the Kim Kardashian smash. Every fan, social media platform, and celebrity seems to have their own opinion about it. Well here’s mine: leave her be! Did you know that even famous celebrities are human, too?

There are only two people who know what went down between Calvin and Taylor, and those two people are Calvin and Taylor. ALL other people are outsiders to this break up and don’t have the “real story” of what happened. The plain truth is they broke up, and that’s that. We as loving fans and supporters have NO right to judge when we are not one of those two people that were there... So stop making or believing rumors because you’re just as stupid as the people who make them up.

Everyone is giving Taylor Swift so much crap about being with Tom so shortly after, assuming she was cheating on Calvin when indeed they are not one of the two that would know. If that is the fact, I could guarantee you know or know of a few people that have done similar things if not the same thing like that. Why do we just shun her when we all know at least one person who has done something similar? I’m not saying cheating on someone is okay. I’m just saying we know people that have done similar and haven’t publicly humiliated them- So why Taylor? Yes, she has been the advocate for broken hearts and break ups for many years but if you don’t know the facts you have no right to judge.

As for the leaked video of Taylor approving the song lyrics... Oh boy. In her defense, he didn’t tell her the vulgar name he would be calling her on the “leaked video.” How would you like it if someone called you that in a song that went viral? I do see how the other line about doing activities with her can be perceived the same if not worse, but I’m assuming she just went with it because his music is like that. There is only one person who may know... And that’s Taylor. So let’s just give her a break and let her be. Do us and her all a favor and hop off the Taylor Swift hate train!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
