It has been hotly debated whether or not time travel is possible throughout the world. Countless physics experts and science fiction nerds have thrown about ideas wildly with their own fair share of support. I wish to contribute to this debate. First and foremost, it should be said that my analysis comes from circumstantial evidence. There is no hard evidence to affirm my, or any other's arguments in terms of time travel. I firmly believe that it is impossible for time travel to occur.
Also, it should be said that I believe in the alternate universe theory. I believe that after every moment in time, an infinite number of universes are created that contain an infinite number of possibilities within them. For example, there is a universe where Hitler won WWII, a universe in which Manhattan is eradicated and even a universe where the pen near your computer or phone doesn't exist. Therefore, I believe that if time travel did exist, it wouldn't be time travel. Instead, the process of going back in time would only end up forcing you to travel to a different universe that is vastly similar, in fact, in all cases identical to your own. This is all in the realm of theoretical evidence, and there is not a shred of proof to affirm this statement, so if you do not concur, I do not blame you. All I ask is the simple respect for my opinion in this regard. This theory is relatively new to the study of physics and has not nearly been explored to the depth it needs to be to yield succinct conclusions.
The main source of evidence I have is that there is no evidence that time has been altered. Surely if time travel existed in the future, time travelers would have already visited the past and tried to rectify any and all problems that exist in the future timeline. Notable examples of problems would be climate change, the financial crisis of 2008, World Wars I and II and the rise of Donald Trump. There is no evidence, and even if the timeline was altered, magically erasing our memories of the past, there is no physical evidence for this phenomenon. Surely, there would be magnetic waves or pulses from the resulting energy of traveling back in time. There must be some mark of time travel.
In short, time travel remains an interesting phenomenon, however, one I do not believe in. I believe that the version of time travel most people are so obsessed about is simply another term for alternate universe traveling, which is much more interesting. However, nothing can be said for certain until one actually tries to "go back."
