Why 'The Bachelorette' Made Us Want Love
Martha Stewart Weddings

As the world watched the drama unfold throughout the season of "The Bachelorette," we saw how much love Jojo had for each of these guys. We fell just as much in love with the guys as she did. When the finale arrived, whether you were team Robby or team Jordan, no matter who she chose, we all just wanted her to choose love. Wouldn’t we all choose to love? From the moment she decided not to choose Robby we were either disappointed or happy depending on the man you were rooting for. As we watched her break down after saying goodbye to him, how could you not ache with her? When Jordan walked up to Jojo, the world instantly saw how happy she was and we all knew she made the right choice.

No matter who's team we were on, Robby or Jordan, there is nothing that anyone wants more than the kind of proposal Jojo and Jordan had. The kind that was full a raw kind of love. As we watched Jordan express his feelings for Jojo, explaining how his life would be incomplete without her, we realize just how much we want to have that. To have a man love you more than anything in the world. To be willing to give up anything or do anything for you. We all hope that one day we could have that, that one person to love for the rest of our lives.

As we desperately waited for the famous line, Jojo interrupted, to tell him the three words he always wanted to hear: "I love you." I love you. Three words that mean so much and at that moment who wouldn’t want what they have. They have a love that is so real and that will last a lifetime. They both want to live and support each other throughout not only the good times but the bad times as well. Who wouldn’t want a love like that? Knowing that something like this could be a part of your future is both mind blowing and exciting.

As Jordan placed the ring on her finger, the excitement only got bigger. Both of them shaking with nervousness and excitement gave everyone watching that exact feeling. Everyone watching was as happy as they were, but to them, no one else in the world mattered in that moment. It was only them and their happiness.

As standards for dating and proposals continue to get higher after shows like "The Bachelorette," people continue to be hopeless romantics. They yearn to have a love like that someday. A love that makes you forget about everything and everyone else other than that person you want to spend the rest of your life with. To watch two people be so happy on national television, how could it not make the viewers just as happy? Only making them watch that more than they already do. Wanting to hear “I wake up every morning and choose you”, who wouldn’t melt at the sound of those words?

Watching finale of "The Bachelorette" made me want nothing more than to find the love of my life and to be just as happy as Jojo and Jordan. To find the kind of love that gives you chills and that makes you feel as though there is no one else on the planet. No one wants nothing more than to be loved. Shows like this one show that someday everyone will have a long lasting, happy, gives you chills, no one but us in the world type love. That kind of love doesn’t come around often. Watching this made us want love, more than everything in the world. No matter what we are going through or what we have been through. Wanting and having the feeling of being loved is all anybody wants in life. So whether you were team Robby or team Jordan, the proposal made everyone's hope for love a lot stronger and made them happy in every way possible.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
