- The kids can actually act. It’s not like “Fuller House” where even the adults sound like they’re talking to an imaginary dragon who wants a cookie.
- There’s an actual plot, but it doesn’t just revolve around it.
- The kids are adorable, and not in a I-want-to-pinch-your-cheeks-for-an-extended-amount-of-time but in a never-get-older kind of way. I mean look at them.
- There’s even teenage adolescence problems that revolve around Nancy and her friends, so it makes for a well written and perceive teenager show.
- Joyce talks to lights. We’ve all been there. It happens to the best of us—so she’s relatable.
- Barb is amazing! That’s all. She just is. She gets me.
- It’s set in the 80s’ so of course we are going to love that. This generation is somehow just a repeat of all other generations combined, so we love it. Nostalgia and all (even if we weren’t born until the late 90s’ or early 00s’).
- It's new seeing actual kids having to face adult decisions and actually making better ones than they would. if the gang was all in a scary movie, they wouldn't go in the basement. it's refreshing.
- They are not only being stalked to a monster but are afraid for their lives from a secret organization, yet they still manage to reference everything back to children games. They obviously aren't that affected by current situations.
- They always come prepared for anything.
