If you're anything like me, a Netflix fanatic, you're always looking for something new to draw your attention. Whether it may be a documentary, a movie or a tv show to take over your life for the next month Netflix always has a hidden gem. But in this case, the Netflix original "Stranger Things" was right in front of my face when I logged on and I don't regret clicking play for a second. It has taken me on an emotional rollercoaster and left me with questions that make me beg for more.
1. It's a Netflix Original.
"Orange is the New Black?" "House of Cards?" "Fuller House?" Do I need to say more? It too is genius.
2. Although the main characters are 12 years old, they perform as if they've been working for 30 years.
It's incredible the amount of talent this show puts out.
3. Aside from the youth, you can always count on Winona Rider to impress.
Having an actress like her can bring in adult fans along with teenagers and youth into the crazy ride that is "Stranger Things."
4. Eleven
The most bad-ass 12 year old to ever live.
5. It is based in the 80s.
A blast from the past it is, and is also refreshing to see teenagers without cell phones, kids playing outside, and a close knit neighborhood.
6. The mystery never stops.
Of course I am not adding any spoilers, but I promise this show will keep you asking for more.
7. It's so realistic yet fictional at the same time.
It makes me believe that there actually may be an alternate universe, and that monster like creatures may run it.
8. In the midst of all the mysterious events, there's a juicy love triangle.
I mean, everyone loves a love triangle, need I say more?
9. It is a short and sweet binge-worthy season.
This is a pro and con all in one. It can easily be watching in one night, but then leaves you in a depression because the second season isn't in the works yet.
10. Eleven's back story is intriguing in the least, thanks to Papa.
To be honest, El could have her own show. Who are her parents? Where is she from? Is she even human?
11. It brings you back to your love of Eggo waffles.
Like I said before, no spoilers so you'll see for yourself.
12. Although the next season has not started filming yet, we have high hopes for a couple more seasons.
The way this season ended, leaves us wondering way too many things for there to be only two seasons. The outlook for more days of binge watching is very high.
