We can all agree that it gets irritating logging on to Facebook and seeing the same girl upload 35 pictures from the night before, or the girl who is constantly instagramming every little thing she does or posts five times in one night, or the girl who changes her cover photo every two days because another awesome group picture has been taken. But they are actually the ones doing it right!
>The best four years of our lives are being lived right now! And what better way to remember it by always snapping a photo and especially now that we live in a world where we can just pull out our phone and do it.
1. When in doubt Instagram it out.
Instagram is awesome; you can throw a fun filter on a cute picture you took, throw in a caption to sum up the snapshot and always add a funny or cute location of the event or where you were. Instagram is a great way to remember memories, where you were, who you were with and of course how many people “liked” you and your photo at the time.
2. Who cares if it’s annoying to ask people to take a picture!
Asking people to take a picture of you and someone always gets redundant, but honestly, who cares?! These are the moments you will not want to forget. These pictures represent a time in your life, memories you will now have. To the people who roll their eyes when you ask, “Hey can you take a picture of us!” just remind yourself you are not annoying; and that in the future you will not regret asking people to take multiple pictures because there will be even more memories to look back on.
3. Buy the pictures, do it!
Themed frat parties can get expensive when it comes to buying the pictures, but do it. Half the time you don’t remember even being in those random huge group photos! But boy is it hilarious to see all the ones you made it in the next day. You scroll through all the pages and by the end of it, your cart has $16 worth of pictures in it, but like I said buy them. They will be awesome pictures to look back on, the big group photos will forever make you chuckle and the horrible peace signs and obnoxious duck faces will always make us smile.
Whether you are taking pictures to show off your cute outfit, or because you feel pretty, or even to make someone jealous; remember that you are capturing memories and things you will be able to cherish after these four years. Upload, Instagram and be annoying, because you will remember the people you were around and some of the best times of your life.
