Justin Bieber came to fame as a long, blonde-haired 13-year-old covering songs on youtube, then selling his first EP 'My World' in 2009. From there it was nothing but up (lol see what I did there?). In 2010 he released his album 'My World 2.0', leading into 2012 where he dropped his album 'Believe' and then dropping his most recent album in 2015, 'Purpose'. May I also include during this quick and crazy rise to fame he was touring with world-wide performances. Through his singing and attractive image, Justin Bieber has gained over 90 million Twitter followers, and before deleting his Instagram he had just as many if not more. Of these millions of "Beliebers", the stereotypical fan of Justin Bieber is a young teen girl.
I thought I'd let you know that guys can be Beliebers too... here's why.
1.) His talent Is undeniable
Fame always comes with pressure and problems. Take the mistakes that you made as a teen and have that posted to every social media site, and millions of people seeing and commenting on it. That is the magnifying glass that Justin Bieber was under. Yes he made mistakes, and everyone does. Bottom line: Justin Bieber is raw talent, and that shouldn't ever be overshadowed by a couple mistakes he has made. Justin Bieber can play four instruments (not including his voice). He plays the piano, guitar, trumpet, and drums. Now, this isn't the casual 'knowing a couple of chords' kind of experience, he is known to shred the drums at his concerts and on live TV during talk shows. He plays guitar in many of his songs. His ability to play the trumpet isn't as strong as his other instruments, but he is still able to play. His vocals? You don't have to be into music to know those things are a gift from God because damn he can sing. Search Justin Bieber acapella and you can thank me later...
2.) Charity
Justin Bieber has helped make over 250 Make-A-Wish foundation wishes come true. Let me say that again. TWO HUNDRED & FIFTY. Justin Bieber isn't a person who has a ton of time on his hands. Going from brand deals, to shows, and then to the recording studio, Justin Bieber takes his time very seriously and for him to do 250 wishes is incredible. Not only does he make their wishes come true by meeting them, but he makes sure he creates a bond with each and every one of those kids. He has made many relationships but none as strong as his love for Avalanna Routh. Avalanna was a brave girl, she was a 6 year old who battled brain cancer all of her life and passed away in 2012. Avalanna never treated Justin as a pop star, he was her husband. She was called Mrs. Bieber even before she met Justin and they were inseparable after the first day they met. She came to some of his shows if she was feeling up to it, and most of the time just hung out with him back stage. Justin even got a tattoo in honor of her. This just showing that many things that he does aren't always publicized as much as the things that he did wrong. The media, as sad as it is, wants to see these stars fail as much as the want to see them succeed.
3.) Family comes first
Justin Bieber has two younger siblings who he frequently posts pictures with/of and with whom he spends a lot of his extra time. The two siblings are Jaxon and Jazmyn (also known as Jazzy). Jaxon is now 7 years old and Jazzy is 8. Everyone knows that Justin Bieber dated Selena Gomez, things got very serious when he took her back to his hometown to meet his family, and more importantly his brother and sister. Justin also never forgets to thank his mom for everything that she has done for him, actually writing a song for her called Turn To You. Justin also stays in good relation with his father, who many see as one of his best friends as they have been spotted partying together and vacationing together. Overall, family is important to him, and lots of people lose sight of family as they become famous. Justin is far from that, and gains a lot of respect from me for that reason.
4.) His Dance Moves
When it comes to dancing, Justin Bieber knows exactly what he's doing. Ask any guy or girl, and there is no way that they can deny the dancing abilities of JB. Justin Bieber was under the wing of singer and songwriter Usher, who by the way is a legend at dancing, so I would hope that Justin is amazing at dancing because his mentor is one of the greats. I would do anything to be able to dance like he can, and that's just another reason why I like Justin Bieber.
Justin Bieber may have had his ups and downs early in his career, but I truly think that he's found who he really is as a person and as a singer. Growing up in the situation he did, being thrown into fame that quick isn't easy. To me Justin made some mistakes that a lot of us do today, and he learned from them and is a better person because of it. Once a Belieber, always a Belieber.
5.) His Vocals
What got him to where he is today is from his vocals. Known for his pop songs, Justin Bieber caught my attention mostly with his stripped down acoustic versions of his songs. Showing how strong his voice actually is. He has shown up on Ellen many times and always impresses with his performances. Here is one from Ellen on December 5th 2016 singing his hit single Cold Water.
