I am just like the rest of you, I too like binging my life away over Netflix and Hulu. But, when does the binging stop? When you have watched everything note worthy? I have started trying to decrease the amount of time I spend as a couch potato. I like to be entertained but find it hard to believe the only productive thing I get done some days is watching a season of The Office.
I have started listening to Podcasts on my iPhone, now I started them because of my favorite Teen Mom, Kailyn Lowry has a podcast "Coffee Convos" that she does with Lindsey Chrisley. It is honestly just hilarious and relatable, even coming from me a 21 year old college student who has no kids, it is one of my favorite things to have on in the car instead of music. They have new episodes every Thursday, and I can't think of a better way to spend Thursday mornings.
Once I was hooked on their podcast, I knew I had to venture out and find more, it is not difficult to find entertainment or informational podcasts on almost any topic.
For example, if you are a mystery/true crime fan, there is a podcast called "My Favorite Murder" another very entertaining podcast. If you are someone who loves learning about history like me, there are podcasts like "Stuff You Missed In History Class", which can be super interesting and definitely the back stories that aren't taught in schools.
All I am trying to say is if you haven't yet, check out the podcast app that comes with all of our iPhones and check out some of the content on there. You won't regret it.
