Everyone’s experiences with college are different. Some students prefer to spend their weekends staying in with friends, going to the movies, bowling or catching up on their studies. Others prefer getting dressed up and going to parties with friends until the sun comes up. Some people are a mix of both. No matter how you choose to spend your college career is OK. I’ll never look down on anyone for how they choose to spend their time, but this article explains why it's OK to be that party girl.
Some people look down on the party girl because perhaps she could be doing homework, catching up on sleep or be more productive with her time. But I think it is more than OK to be the party girl, as long as you're safe and smart about the decisions you make.
Why it is OK:
Being the party girl is, if nothing more, fun!
There is nothing wrong with going to a party on the weekends and dancing with friends until your heels give you blisters.
For some people, going out on the weekends is their only break.
I know for me personally, I study and work very hard all week long, so I love the chance to go out and let loose with my friends for a night without the stress of any assignments due. The weekends are my "me time," when I get to take a time out from the stress of college courses.

From laughing 'til no more sound comes up and you’re left clapping like a seal, to meeting the most interesting of people. When you go out on the weekends you make memories with your friends that will last a lifetime.

I know for a fact I have made so many friends from just meeting them in the bathroom at parties or on the bus ride down. Some people don’t make friends from classes or clubs simply because they may not be cliquing with them, but some people make fun, great ones on a weekend out.
It’s finally a chance to stay up late!
All week long you have to go to bed at a reasonable hour, but nothing beats being able to stay out until dawn and sleep all Sunday morning before you hit up the local bagel shop with your roommates.
You're only young once.
Cliché I know, but the matter of the fact is, if there is any time to be a party girl, it is now.
