Sure, summer is amazing, but fall is entirely too underrated. It’s time we begin to appreciate the season that introduced us to all things pumpkin and just chilly enough weather to wear that favorite sweater/scarf combo you’ve been dying to wear. Though I will give credit where credit is deserved in saying that the other three seasons are filled with wonderful things, fall is way under-appreciated. Take a quick minute to think about these things next time before you jump onto the “summer is my favorite season” bandwagon.
1. Halloween is the most entertaining holiday, and people of all backgrounds can celebrate.
2. Pumpkin picking and hayrides are both undeniably fun, as well as great opportunities to get that cute Insta pic you’ve been wanting.
3. Football season is the best season.
4. Thanksgiving, where we get to be with the people we love most while shoving our faces with food… something we also love.
5. The scenery is just fab.
6. Bikini season is OVER!
7. School starts again in the fall (which may seem negative,) HOWEVER, time in school = time with friends you haven’t seen in months.
8. We begin to want to make hot chocolate, grab a blanket, and snuggle up to watch a movie or read a book.
9. We can drink hot coffee or iced coffee and either is absolutely acceptable.
10. PUMPKIN. EVERYTHING.
11. It’s essentially winter’s pregame.
