1. FOOTBALL IS BACK! Whether you root for the DAWGS or the JACKETS or another team (TAR HEELS), football is the epitome of what fall is.
2. HAUNTED HOUSES! Creepy, spooktacular fun!
3. BONFIRES! No one can go wrong with a bonfire in their backyard or at the lake when it starts to get chilly outside. Grab a few friends and relax by the fireside.
4. HOMECOMING! Watching football, partying, hanging with friends, and cheering for your team is what homecoming is all about.
5. HALLOWEEN! You get to dress up as whatever you want! Halloween parties, decorations, candy, but most importantly HOCUS POCUS IS PLAYED ON THE REGULAR.
6. PUMPKIN EVERYTHING! There's Pumpkin Spice Granola Bars, Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal, Pumpkin Pie Spice for your coffee. Trader Joe's knows what's up!
7. CHILLY WEATHER. You know what that means...every 'Basic' girl will be pulling her trunk out with the vast array of fall clothing items I will later talk about in this article.
8. SWEATERS. Vast array of colorful, plaid, over-sized sweaters!
9. BOOTS. Riding boots, UGG, Hunter boots, all of the above are essential once fall rolls around.
10. VESTS. They're adorable and stylish! Who doesn't need a vest to keep warm and help spruce up their outfit?!
11. SCARVES. The infinity scarves and the blanket scarves are a must for fall. They're cute and help you stay warm and stylish.
12. FLANNEL. FLANNEL. FLANNEL. Everyone needs a little flannel in their life! So why not throw on some jeans, boots, and a little flannel? You're fall basic ready.
13. HOODIES. I LOVE HOODIES!! I may or may not be wearing exactly what I wore to bed last night underneath my hoodie...or maybe I'm just wearing the hoodie...or maybe I express how I'm feeling that day via my hoodie.
(I just really lovesleep, so clearly I need this hoodie.)
Since now we're done talking about every form of clothing and shoe-ware available, we have to talk about all the other most exciting stuff that comes with falls arrival!
14. HAYRIDES! They're fun and relaxing and everyone enjoys a good hayride! You may have to deal with some hay in some places that aren't too comfortable, but it's worth the ride!
15. HOT COCOA. There's nothing like a good cup of hot cocoa on a chilly fall night. Add some marshmallows and you're in for a good night!
16. APPLE CIDER. When its fall apple cider is everything you need. If you're old enough to drink, apple cider punch is what's up!
(Grab some cider and champagne and you're set for a good night.)
17. S'MORES. Need I say anymore? Everyone loves S'mores. If you don't like S'mores I can't trust you.
18. COLORFUL LEAVES. There's nothing more beautiful than the leaves changing in fall.
19. LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Fall is just the most amazing season. Fall has everything to offer from football, fashion, food, drinks, movies, and Halloween! YAY FOR FALL OFFICIALLY STARTING!
