For as long as I can remember, I have dreaded the season of fall; growing up, my fondest memories were made during the summertime. From swim team practice every morning with my best friends to beach trips and roasting S'mores in the night, fall meant the beginning of the new school year and the end of my favorite season. Since coming to college, however, I've had a revelation: fall is actually the best. As I reflect on my time in college, I can’t help but to realize that my best memories were made in the fall. So without further ado, here is why fall is the best:

School Begins Again

FINALLY! Summers during college feel like years. There's no better feeling than being back on campus and reunited with all your friends once school starts.

Football Season

Between the tailgates and school spirit, football games are the best. From college to NFL, there's always a good game on to bring friends and family together.

Nothing gets me excited like Bid Day. The anticipation of gaining a new group of girls is probably my favorite part of being affiliated with a sorority.

The Weather

As the temperature begins to drop, you'll pull out your coziest sweaters and riding boots. The temperature during fall is the perfect happy medium: not too hot and a little chilly. Perfect for a bonfire.

Halloween

Lastly, this is one the best weekends in college; everyone goes all out with costumes. I've been planning my outfit for this year since last November.
