MTV's Catfish co-host, Nev Schulman, does more than just help people out who want to meet the one (or find out the person they've been texting is actually a 40-year-old man.)
The 32-year-old from New York City is a producer, actor, and photographer. After the successful 2010 documentary, Catfish, directed by Schulman's brother, Nev and his business partner and friend, Max, took it to themselves to create a television show to help people find love.
While Nev and Max have been filming and making people smile on their TV show since 2012, this year, Nev is taking a step back and focusing on what matters most to him.
Which would be this. His beautiful fiancée, Laura Perlongo and their soon-to-be newborn baby.
While also posting tons of adorable baby bump photos on his Instagram and Twitter, Nev has been speaking out about women's rights. We know it's because of Donald Trump, 2016 presidential candidate, whom he's expressed negativity for. Nev is pro-Hillary, whom wholeheartedly supports Planned Parenthood and women's rights.
Perlongo and Schulman published a serious, yet humorous, article on mtv.com describing their journey into parenthood thus far. Sharing with readers the obstacles they've faced and will soon face. In the article they also mention their nervousness and questioning of bringing a baby into the world after the Orlando shooting and the upcoming presidential election.
They even ended the article with, "So in short, we're voting for Hillary Clinton."
Catch Nev on Twitter using hashtags such as: #ImWithHer, #IAmAFeminist, #HeForShe, and #LoveisLove.
But, readers, here's where the note-taking on the couple should start:
" Family portrait paparazzi style."
"My 3 favorite words: "some assembly required". CAN'T WAIT TO BE A DAD!!!"
"She's a badass! Nothing better than a confident baby mama!"
"We met on bumble. she told me she was a poodle, but she cute so it's cool."
"Got bored waiting for the baby to arrive..."
October 21, 2016:
Schulman posted on his Facebook page: "I am speechless. No words can express the complete joy and total awe I feel for my beautiful partner and the tiny angel we created. I've never been so in love. Little baby Cleo and momma are both happy and healthy and doing great. A huge thank you to the ladies of Downtown Women Ob/Gyn, our incredible doula Lindsey from the Carriage House Birth, and the amazing staff at NYU Langone Medical Center. We are so overwhelmed by the quality of care that all of you provided and are so thrilled to be new parents. (6lb 10oz)"
Laura Perlongo, you are one lucky lady.
Nev Schulman, you are a rockstar and I'll be rooting for you and your family. Congratulations on becoming parents!
