What a bold statement, right? Well, before all the cat-lovers of the world grab their torches and pitchforks, hear me out. Dogs are by far the best and most wonderful animals to ever have graced this world, and I will prove it to you.
1. They Provide Unconditional Love To You No Matter What
No matter what you do, no matter how good or bad your day was, no matter how many times you yell at your dog for making a mess or tearing something up, that dog will never stop loving you with its whole entire heart and soul. That's an aspect of dogs that is really and truly magical and is not replicated in any other species (except maybe humans? But that's debatable.)
2. They Get Jobs Helping People
They literally get jobs helping people with mental and physical health problems.They are trained to help so many different health problems, it's incredible. And they're very good at it!
3. THEY ARE SO DAMN CUTE!!!!
Oh. My. GOODNESS. Wow. Just wow. The little ones are cute, the big ones are cute. The young ones are cute, the old ones are cute. Fat, skinny, tall, small, cute describes them all!
4. They Can Do All Kinds Of Tricks
From sitting, laying down, fetching, shaking your hand, catching treats, retrieving the newspaper or your slippers, to more advanced tricks like flips, diving, dancing, and obstacle courses, dogs can literally do anything and that is so unbelievably cool!
5. They Get Jobs Working For The Police
They go out daily and risk their lives to make the world safer for us in a variety of different ways. They can be part of K9 unites patrolling the streets, bomb-sniffing dogs, etc. They're very good at these jobs as well!
6. They Are Always Excited To See You
Gone for a day at work? They're SO happy you're back! Gone for a few days and unable to take your dog along for the trip? First, they'll be terribly sad that you left, and when you get back? Oh my goodness, watch out because they're the happiest animal in the world at that point. Gone for a minute or two to use the restroom? They'll be so happy you came back that they'll knock you off your feet with their excitement. Dogs are just so fantastic.
7. They Adapt To Everything
Want to rough house and play? Let's go! Had a long day and want to relax? Time to cuddle up on the couch! Had a really bad day and need some love? You better believe your dog has more love than you could ever need! Tired and ready for bed? So is your dog! Whatever mood, whenever you're in it, the dog is ready for it.
8. They Don't Mind Getting Dressed Up
They can be a spooky spider for Halloween, a pilgrim during Thanksgiving, or an elf or reindeer during Christmas, When its cold out, you can dress them in sweaters to keep warm! There are endless possibilities, and let's be honest, all of them are cute!
9. Have I Mentioned Their Undying and Unconditional Love Yet?
Because wow. That's honestly so incredible. We really don't deserve to share the Earth with such wonderful animals. If any animal deserves immortality, it'd be dogs.
