Something that very few people realize is that Disney is for all ages. If you love Disney as much as I do, you realized this statement to be true a long time ago. People question why you love it so much and how you never get bored of it, and the truth is you usually cannot find the words to explain why. I tell those same people that you have to go to experience it, and then you will understand. I hope this article helps you to help people understand why Disney is our “happy place.”
It’s magical.
From Tinkerbell flying through the night sky to cast members dancing in the streets, Disney is a magical place. Each and every day, Disney opens the park with characters dancing on a train into the Main Street Station and the countdown to the rope drop. Once the rope is dropped, guests rush into the park to begin their days. A typical day consists of rides, food, and meeting with characters. If you’re at the Magic Kingdom, you typically end the day with Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, a dazzling display of fireworks and Tinkerbell flying through the park from Cinderella’s castle. Disney is known for its magic, which is seen around every corner.
Adults turn into children.
There are not many places where you see an adult having a conversation with a princess like they are best friends. In any other place, this would probably be considered creepy, but in Disney, it is weird not to talk to them. This is the one place where adults can revert back to their childhood, and it is completely normal.
All of your problems go away.
It is almost impossible to think about your problems when you’re at Disney. From the food to the characters, rides and shows, there is not a lot of time to think about anything but what you plan on doing next. Unless something major comes up while you’re there, most of your home problems go away.
Disney becomes home.
After you go once, you will understand why this is true. Disney cast members treat you like family. From the minute you check into the Magic Express until you get off for the last time at the airport, Disney does nothing but accommodate its guest’s wishes. With time, you will find a hotel that feels like a second home, and you will never want to leave. The love of Disney is indescribable until you experience it for yourself, and I truly hope you all do one day. I’m already counting down the days until I can go back again. It is such a magical place, and I hope you find that love for it that I have.
Have a magical day,
The Wannabe Princess Disney Lover
