1. He will ALWAYS buy you dinner. You never have to worry about bringing money or dressing fancy. He’ll buy you dinner, wherever you want and enjoy every second of it.
2. He really does enjoy every second he spends with you, and you enjoy spending time with him. You are two peas in a pod, and the best of friends.
3. If you get in an argument (which is rare), you know he will always forgive you.
4. He has manners (real manners, people) and he teaches you to have the same.
5. He’s been around and will be around for your whole life.
6. He is always looking out for your best interest, and you know that no matter who gets involved, he will have your best interest at heart.
7. He doesn’t expect presents on Father’s day, Christmas or his birthday, he just wants you there, and to be able to spend time with you and your family.
8. It’s still fun to go shopping for him though.
9. He will tell you how it is, even if it hurts because he loves you. But, he will do it gently, and carefully, guarding your heart.
10. He gives you a million lectures, and you may sometimes act annoyed, but you truly love that he cares enough about you to lecture you.
11. He’s the best beach buddy, pool buddy, movie buddy, and lazy day buddy you can ask for.
12. He knows you love marshmallow Sundays with rainbow sprinkles, and spaghetti for dinner.
13. He taught you to drive, and was totally calm about it because your mom was too nervous to do so.
14. He was there to pick you up from work late at night when you were too scared to drive home alone.
15. He buys you breakfast from McDonald’s every Saturday morning, and takes you to church with him every Sunday.
16. He will buy you ALMOST anything you want, like that cheap necklace or a new iPhone charger.
17. You and your dad look so much alike that people look at you and say, "You're so and so's daughter, you look exactly alike." And you aren't ashamed to look exactly like such a distinguished, respected and important man in your town.
18. He supports every decision you make, even if it isn't the best, and when you realize that it wasn't a good decision, he still loves you with his whole heart.
19. There is no betrayal with your dad, he will never talk about you behind your back, or spread rumors about you to his friends.
20. He teaches you that you will never need to depend on any man, except him, and he makes sure that you will have an education that you will never need to depend on anyone but yourself.
21. Your dad should always be the number one man in your life, even when you get a boyfriend, or husband. Don’t forget how special he is, and all the wonderful things he has done for you.
