Even in his early career, Thomas Rhett's songs were popular among the country music crowd, but now, ever since his new album, Tangled Up, was released, this singer/songwriter has taken the country music world by storm. Lately, Rhett has been on tour with Brett Eldredge, has made it on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for 13 straight weeks, and was recently nominated for two iHeartRadio Music Awards.

So why are we "Tangled Up" in his music? Why am I about to "Die a Happy Fan"? Well, you "Make Me Wanna" tell you why.

1. His music is good (and clean)

Not only is Rhett's music positive and relatable, it has lyrics that mean more than just sex, beer, and break-ups. Although those topics are common in country music, it's nice to turn on the radio and not hear a guy tell me to shake it for him, just sayin'. He doesn't just relate to girls either, his music covers everything from love to hometown pride to letting go, hanging out, and feeling good.

2. He and his wife are #Goals

You're not even a Thomas Rhett fan if you haven't swooned over he and his wife's romantic, genuine, and obvious love for one another. He constantly posts about her on social media and even calls her the cutest AND the hottest in one of his top songs. To make it even better, they've known each other since they were kids and, from the looks of it, they're best friends that go to awards shows and travel on tour together.

3. He's humble

It's hard not to get a big head when you get famous, but truth is, we've never seen an ounce of arrogance or pride from Rhett since he's become a major success. During an interview, when he found out he was up for awards for Best Lyrics as well as Country Artist of the Year, his response was "Are you serious? You're not serious!" Gotta love him.

4. He's real and he shows it

I think we all have misconceptions that music stars are constantly at awards shows, at fancy parties, on tour, or hanging out with Beyonce, but they are people too. Rhett lets his fans in on his real life by sharing pictures and posts spending time with his family, throwing New Years Eve parties for his close friends, dressing up in ugly Christmas sweaters, and chilling on a Sunday afternoon with his dogs.

There's an abundance of reasons why we love Thomas Rhett, but what it all comes down to is his authentic, southern soul, and his relatable lyrics that speak to us all.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
