I am one of the people who shamelessly starts preparing for Christmas way too early. I am the person who cranks up Justin Bieber's Christmas album at the start of November. But hey, Christmas is the most magical time of the year. And who would want to limit this magical time to just one month? It is not just about Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, it is a whole holiday season that begins the minute November arrives. In fact, Thanksgiving is actually just a Christmas holiday, in case you didn't know. If you are one of the people who do not understand why us crazies start celebrating Christmas so early, here is finally an explanation. I promise, by the end of the article you will be fully converted into an advocate for early Christmas, too.

Twenty five days just is not a sufficient amount of time to celebrate Christmas! There are way too many things to do like buying Christmas presents. Lots and lots of Christmas presents. Getting a head start in Christmas means getting a head start on Christmas shopping, which is undeniably fun! You also get plenty of time to switch up your wish list every time you discover your new must-have item. I am perfectly okay with beginning the hunt for the perfect Christmas presents early. Maybe I can avoid all the chaos of Black Friday. I'll probably be broke by then anyways, since I am celebrating early. But it is okay, because Christmas.

Now, as if I even need to mention the food, since we are celebrating Christmas early, we have a perfect excuse to eat as many cookies and peppermint sticks as we want. Not only do we get to eat copious amounts of cookies and other sweets, you get to bake them, too! I do not know about you, but that sounds like a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why we need to begin celebrating early. You get to be in a kitchen full of baked goods and hot chocolate. Oh, and did I mention the gingerbread lattes? And lots of gingerbread lattes at that. Yum.

Christmas also puts people in a good mood. It is about giving back, especially to those in need. And that is always a good cause to start something early, right? Who would not want to spread this joy ASAP? Volunteering at a soup kitchen, making Christmas cards for the elderly in nursing homes, and canned food drives are just a few of the most popular ways to give back. And you cannot deny, it is never too early for giving. Might as well make it Christmas giving. It is truly fulfilling and one of the best ways to get into the Christmas spirit.

Christmas decorations are just plain fun to look at. You most likely already have a string of Christmas lights in your room that you keep up year-round, like me. The way I see it, I might as well buy a Christmas tree to go with it. Nothing is better then snuggling up in a blanket surrounded by pretty Christmas things. Christmas decorating is just fun. It is like giving your house a mini interior makeover. Your home will magically transform into a snow globe, right before your eyes.

Christmas Movies and Christmas music are the best. I need as much time as possible to squeeze in endless viewings of "Elf," "Rudolph," and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Let us not forget all of the sappy Christmas romance movies that are on Netflix. Come on, we all love them, even if you do not want to admit it. But, if you wait until December, there is just no way you can watch them all! This is not acceptable!

And there you go! A few of many reasons why Christmas in November is necessary. All that is left is for you to join the movement. Take a walk on the wild side, and celebrate Christmas early this year!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
