CHRISTMAS FOREVER!!!

My favorite holiday is Christmas because why freaking not! I mean, presents? The sweet smell of cinnamon? The sweet smell of thanksgiving food times two? What more could you want from a holiday?

And, on top of that, you get to give presents to someone else - you get to pick out what you think they will love based on how much you know them and give it to them. Most of the time it always works out. You get to give people you care about awesome, awesome presents.

Christmas is a wonderful holiday and here are some reasons why.

1. Mariah Carey's & B2K's Christmas Album.

Honestly, her Christmas album gives me so much life. Mariah alone gives me so much life, but since Christmas is my favorite holiday she gives me more life than usual. If you have never heard Mariah's Xmas album, give it a listen - it's the best thing you'll hear. I am almost positive you have heard, " All I Want For Christmas Is You ."

The only other Christmas album almost better is B2K's Xmas album, called "Santa Hooked Me Up." Just based on the title, you can know it's gonna be a Christmas banger and it is. It's not as well known because they fell off the map but seriously listen to it. It's a good Xmas album.

2. "Home Alone 1," "2," and "3," possibly "4."

If Home Alone is not your favorite movie, I am concerned. For you and for me. I know every word and I am concerned because maybe it's not that great of a movie... YEAH RIGHT. That movie is the epitome of Christmas. Knowing as a child you could lost and still order pizza in a limo was the best future bucket list a kid could ever want.

3. "Eight Crazy Nights"

I love anything Adam Sandler has ever done from 80's/90's/early 00's. So, this was a given. They are taking it off Netflix FYI, so if you want to watch it - get to it now.

4. ONESIES!

My wonder woman onesie keeps me warm at any given time of the day.

5. Christmas Shopping!

I personally love Christmas shopping, I know a lot of people don't because it's busy and what not. I love going around and running errands to find that perfect gift because then I get excited when I give it to them and they are happy about what I got. Always going the extra mile for a present, because the expression is the best thing on earth.

6. Baking!

COOKIES. COOKIES. AND MORE COOKIES. PIES. AND ALL THE PIES IN THE WORLD. I love pie and cookies as you can tell and that will never change.

7. Fall + Winter combined!

There's that "oh it might be sunny here in California on Xmas, or it could rain and be gloomy all day" toss up. You never really know in California.

8. Christmas Tree Lane.

I don't know if everyone has this, but here in Cali we have a lane of Xmas lights you can either drive or walk for the month of Christmas. It's glorious and wonderful!

9. The infamous Feliz Navidad song!

'Nough said, my friends, who does not know this song?

Here's to a wonderful holiday season and a wonderful Christmas shopping experience! That was my list of why I personally adore Christmas and always will. I know we still have Thanksgiving to get through, but the moment Halloween ends it's ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU TIME!!!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
