Food makes the world go 'round, or at least, that's what it seems like. Whether it is looking at an Instagram account dedicated to donuts or mac n' cheese, drooling over a menu, or day dreaming about the leftover Pub sub sitting in your fridge for when you get home, food certainly seems to be at the forefront of our minds 24/7.
With so many delectable food options, it is hard to choose a favorite, but when looking at the overall food spread of specific meals, the winner becomes quite apparent. Not saying that all food wasn't created equal but there is one meal that stands above the rest: Breakfast. Here are just a few reasons why, out of all the possible meals, breakfast is undoubtedly the best one of the day:
- It gives your body the energy it needs to start the day, hence why they say it is the most important meal of the day.
- Bacon!!
- It is the first meal of your day, and last time I checked, first is the best.
- Breakfast can also be eaten at any time of the day and still be acceptable. Brunch? Breakfast for dinner? Need I say more?
- A breakfast of homemade pancakes (sorry Aunt Jemima) on Sunday Morning is hard to beat.
- Almost anything goes for breakfast. Leftover pizza? Thai food? Sure, go for it. The breakfast gods don't judge.
- A big home-cooked breakfast gets the house smelling like your own little gourmet restaurant. No candle compares.
- Sweet tooth? Prefer something savory? Breakfast covers all the taste bud bases.
- If you're feeling lazy, you can have a delicious breakfast of cereal and milk ready in seconds.
- Avocado toast is a breakfast food and anything involving avocado toast is pretty high on any list of mine.
- Have you tried an Acai bowl? If you have, then you already understand, but if you haven't, then prepare to have your breakfast world rocked.
- Pastries and baked goods are in the breakfast category, which are basically just desserts eaten in the morning, and who can argue with that?

- A good breakfast can put a smile on your face for the rest of the day. If you can't relate to that, then you've clearly been doing breakfast wrong.
Lunch and dinner and the snacks in between are great, but nothing beats a good breakfast.
