Do you really like music? I mean like, more than people? Do you have more than 3 genres in your playlist -- from hop hop to pop? Are you convinced that people that aren't music heads just don't get it? Do you get freaked out by the idea of a life without the beautiful invention that is music?

Well my friend, this is the article for you.

  1. The "what's your favorite genre/artist/era of music" question
  2. Unless you want to have an in-depth conversation for at least 2 hours, you give the most bs answer possible or just don't answer it.
  3. The shuffle buttonPutting your music library on shuffle in front of people gives you anxiety because there’s always that chance of going from Marvin Gaye to Destiny's Child and back to Ed Sheeran.
  4. Music Debates
  5. They get you HEATED because you’ve listened to enough music to have a pretty valid opinion amiright?
  6. You want to get in the music industry somehowYou may not be the most talented, but because you love music so much you’ve dreamed about being Beyonce for 7 years.
  7. People expect you to know every song ever madeSomeone out of the blue asks you about a song made in the 1960’s in someone’s basement and of course they look for you to know like you’re their personal Shazam. I mean you’re pretty close to knowing every song, but not yet there.
  8. People get sick of your opinions Ok I admit, this might just be me and my slight case of the music snob, but I’d like to think that people just can’t handle the truth.
  9. Your music is literally 50% or more of your storage Every time that awful “you’re running out of storage” message pops up you know it’s because of your music. Now you have to make the hardest decision of your life and delete some songs (well, I always delete pictures but yunno).
  10. You’re so out of tune with TV shows. I mean, you know TV shows, but not like other people because your first priority when it comes to digital media is music.
  11. Even though it sucks sometimes, you know that others are missing out on some really good music Nonetheless, you’ve caught the disease for which there is no cure: the love of music. You win in almost any situation.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
