Yes, we all know who they are. The crazy Kardashians. You either love them, or you hate them. If you don't know them, simply type in a "K" on Google and they will pop up in the suggestion box. Kris, Caitlyn, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, Kylie, and even their spouses, children and Caitlyn's children also fall into this mix. Reasons for fame include: underage nude photos, a sex tape, scandalous photo shoots, the Dash clothing store, beauty, fashion, Keeping up with the Kardashians, growing up in wealth, a sex change, fashion statements, and smart business moves. The reason I respect this family the most is because of the close family they have. Through all of the difficulties they have faced, the heart breaks, the fame, divorces, unexpected pregnancies, illness, the sex change, and stupid decisions, they have always stuck together. This is the reason why I will always be so jealous of the Kardashian family.
I am not jealous of the fame they have gained over the past 5 years or so. I do not obsess over their lives, or wish I was one of them. I do not need to read every article written about them (which is everywhere and all the time) or always look at their numerous posts on social media. I'm not jealous of the money and the nice cars (well, maybe sometimes). I am jealous of the close family they have. Before I begin, I want my family to know they mean the world to me, and I could go on and on about how amazing they are, but things have changed over time. And maybe, it's just me that feels that way. With me being away at school, my mom and brother in Florida, my sisters and father no longer in my life, and everyone else in my family just living their every day busy lives, it makes me wish things were the same as when I was younger. We were always together, and it was easy because all of us kids were young and now, we are grown. Now, here is where the Kardashians come into play.
If you take the time to watch their E News biography or read about the Kardashian family, you'll see that they have been a close family ever since they were young. Now, if you watch their TV show (Keeping Up with the Kardashians) you can see this bond still taking place. Just how they play pranks on each other, are adventurous, and even when they fight, you see that bond. In their family, they all have different personalities. Kim being the Diva, Kourtney always being sassy, Khloe being the humorous one, Kendall the tomboy and Kylie with her unique style. This is where I get a kick out of their show. All of their different, yet the same, personalities make their family so interesting. I like how they are always playing pranks on their mother, are honest with each other (maybe too honest), always doing interesting activities together, meeting up for lunch a few times a week just to catch up, staying in constant contact, supporting each other with all of their successes and the honesty and loyalty they share with each other (the list could go on).
People might argue with me and say they do this on their TV show just for the money. I personally think, through all the fame, they have no choice but to stick together. Nobody chooses their families anyway, but you get the point. When people make rude remarks towards them about the Caitlyn Jenner situation, this is where I see the closeness the most. Yes, this sex change definitely shocked America. A family either gets over it or they don't. The Kardashians took this situation and handled it all while staying strong together. While a big chunk of their lives was, as they would say, "taken away," they were still by each others side throughout the entire situation. At first it might have been difficult for them to accept the changes, but after time they started supporting Caitlyn. While the media bashed them, they had nothing but positive remarks to say all to help out their family member and stay strong together.
While this article may seem like I am trying to get you to like the Kardashians, it's not. It's simply giving credit to a family who has been strong together through good times and bad times.They always remind me that family really is everything. For these reasons, I am jealous of the Kardashians.
